150 years of Colorado. Impossible to miss.
For America's 250th anniversary and Colorado's own 150th, the Colorado Tourism Office needed a pavilion that turned a standard exhibit tent into a memorable, engaging experience, one built to hold its own on the National Mall among all 50 states. Brand Revolution built it from the ground up: design through installation.
Not a booth. A destination.
Every state at the Great American State Fair got the same size tent and the same blank canvas. The Colorado Tourism Office needed a pavilion built to stand out from all 50, not blend into a row of state exhibits.
Working alongside the Colorado 250/150 Commission, Brand Revolution and our Denver-based fabrication team wove Colorado's history into the experience alongside its landscapes, culture, and adventurous spirit, then built the whole thing from concept through installation.
Colorado, built to scale.
Natural materials, real evergreen trees brought in from Colorado, and large-format John Fielder photography brought the outdoors into the middle of Washington, DC.
Colorado's front door.
A hand-built "Welcome to Colorful Colorado" sign, framed by real evergreen trees brought in from Colorado, gave every visitor an instant, unmistakable sense of place.
A literal chairlift.
A ski lift bench, set against a snow-capped LED backdrop, turned a photo op into one of the pavilion's most-shared moments.
A digital canoe run.
Real canoes paired with an interactive rapids experience gave younger visitors a hands-on taste of Colorado's 6,000 miles of rivers.

Built in Denver. Shipped to DC.
Beetle-kill pine-inspired finishes, a hand-carved Red Rocks installation, and the pavilion's canoes were designed and fabricated by our Denver-based team before making the trip east. Natural materials and real evergreen trees did the rest, turning a standardized tent into a lodge that felt unmistakably Colorado.
Our state looks forward to showcasing Colorado at the Great American State Fair with an engaging, interactive experience giving visitors a taste of Colorado's outdoors.
I love it. I think it's great. It's interactive. It's fun. There are photo ops, teaches you about Colorado, and you get to see it. Yeah, I think it's one of the best ones so far.
The pavilion became one of the fair's standout attractions, welcoming more than 20,000 visitors and earning a Best of Show Award. Strategy, creative, account leadership, fabrication, and production, working together to translate a state's brand into a memorable physical experience.
