Awareness, turned into action.
Behavior-change campaigns for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, from 3D-animated vaccine spots to documentary work on tobacco policy and parent conversations.
The state's public health voice, amplified.
CDPHE is Colorado's lead public health agency. We've partnered with them directly and through agency partners to own the creative execution of statewide behavior-change campaigns, work that has to be clear enough to inform and sharp enough to move people to act.
Our role spans two very different production worlds: the 3D-animated worlds we built to revive flu and MMR vaccination rates after COVID, and the documentary work we did with real Coloradans on the impact of tobacco policy and parent-teen conversations.
When vaccine rates fell, we animated them back up.
After COVID disrupted routine immunization, flu and MMR vaccination rates dropped sharply across Colorado. CDPHE brought us in to lead the creative on a holistic statewide push, two principal 3D-animated spots, cut in :30 and :15, plus a landing page that carried the same characters and visual language into a place people could learn more and find a clinic. Delivered in English and Spanish.
Flu — 30 Second Spot
The principal flu spot, built from the ground up in 3D, character design, world, and narrative all developed with the animation team.
MMR — 30 Second Spot
The MMR companion piece, same visual world, different message, focused on the vaccines kids miss when routine care gets disrupted.
Flu — 15 Second Cutdown
A shorter cut for digital and pre-roll placements, designed to land the same message in half the time.
MMR — 15 Second Cutdown
The MMR cutdown, paired with the :30 across digital and social distribution.
The spots had a place to land.
What happens when a community decides to change.
We traveled to Colorado's San Luis Valley to document the real-world impact of tobacco policy on the people who live with it. Two short films, one on indoor smoking, one on retailer accountability, that show what changes look like on the ground when communities pass them.
Smoke-Free Indoor Spaces
The story of an indoor smoking policy after the law passed, what it took, and what it gave back to the community.
Holding Retailers Accountable
A look at the retail-side policy that put the responsibility for underage tobacco sales squarely on the people selling it.
Parents, in the living room, talking honestly.
The other half of the Tobacco Free Colorado work happened in a living room. Three roundtable conversations with real Colorado parents talking about the topics they wish they'd known how to bring up earlier, vaping, tobacco, and the small choices that shape teenage years.
Vaping
What parents have learned about the device, the trend, and how to bring it up without losing the conversation.
Talking About Tobacco
The conversation parents wish someone had taught them how to start, and the words they actually use when they do.
Guiding Good Choices
Less about saying no, more about giving teens the framing to make the call themselves.
